Assisted Living provides an alternative for those persons requiring assistance, but who wish to live as independently as possible. This sheltered environment allows for a secure yet private living arrangement. Both single and double occupancy accommodations are available. Our Assisted Living services are delivered in four levels. These levels are defined in terms of care and services that are required and the daily rates correspond accordingly. The friendly and helpful staff including Licensed Practical Nurses and Resident Assistants endeavor to help residents remain as independent as possible in a safe setting.
In order to gain an accurate understanding of each resident's individual needs, our Assisted Living Planning Team will assess each incoming resident to determine what level of service is appropriate. Thereafter, assessments will be done regularly to insure adequate services. If a significant change in the resident's condition occurs, an interim assessment may be necessary. Menno Haven Menno Village and Menno Haven Penn Hall make a daily per diem service charge for each Assisted Living resident. This charge will reflect the appropriate level of service
