Relationships

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED. The beauty of our three campuses – Menno Village, Northfield and Penn Hall – is that you can feel at home in your own neighborhood while still feeling a part of the larger Menno Haven community. You can be as involved as you want to be and live the life you choose without the responsibilities of home ownership or health care concerns. You can enjoy musical entertainment, guest presenters, games, sing-alongs and coffee fellowship if you like.

Menno Haven provides many opportunities to develop fulfilling relationships. Exercise classes, cooking, crafts, Bible studies, volunteer opportunities and bus trips are available for the choosing. Residents can also enjoy woodworking, gardening, card clubs, art classes or college classes. Our resident councils offer opportunities to work together with staff members to plan campus life activities. Other Life Enrichment clubs may interest you such as the garden club, bridge club or Menno Haven chorus.Menno Haven takes a holistic approach by emphasizing all areas of physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual health.

EVEN MORE WAYS TO INTERACT. Whether dining in the formal dining room or in a more casual coffee shop, you’ll find the perfect setting for talking with a friend or meeting a new one. Meals are also available for home delivery and facilities can be reserved for private birthday or anniversary parties. Or plan a get-together in one of our social rooms or pavilions.

Menno Haven residents also like to interact at our fitness centers and pools. Participate in group classes from aerobics to Tai Chi, or follow your own individualized exercise program. After these activities, you can relax in our soothing whirlpool spa. Or head over to the neighboring campus of Wilson College to stimulate your mind in programs offered throughout the year by the college or Institute for Retired Persons.

Heritage

Since 1964, Menno Haven has grown from a 61-bed nursing center to a key provider of senior housing and senior care in the region. We may have grown to more than 1,200 residents over three campuses, but we have never outgrown our commitment to the Christian values upon which Menno Haven was founded. We’re proud to be known as a caring community that focuses on our residents.

Everyday, we strive to contribute to the mind, body and spirit of every resident. We start with a personal touch, add diverse settings for different retirement lifestyles and provide a continuum of care to meet a variety of needs. No matter what story has brought you here or where your story takes you, you’ll feel at home in the Menno Haven community.
