History
Founded in 1964, Menno Haven was organized in conjunction with the Mennonite Churches of Franklin County and is a not-for-profit corporation. As one of the leaders in continuing care retirement communities, Menno Haven Retirement Communities brings together years of experience in the retirement living and healthcare fields to assure its residents the very best in senior living that is affordable. At our address we promise exceptional service, quality healthcare, security and peace of mind.

The Board of Directors and management of Menno Haven Retirement Communities are committed to Christian values in the operation of the organization. Menno Haven Retirement Communities is affiliated with and holds active membership in the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging (PANPHA), Mennonite Health Services and the Association of Brethren and Mennonite Older Adults Ministries.

The Menno Haven Menno Village campus and the Menno Haven Penn Hall campus is accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC/CARF). Menno Haven has been nationally accredited through CCAC since 1988. Menno Haven was one of the first 100 retirement communities to be recognized nationally through CCAC accreditation. Menno Haven still strongly values and supports the standards of excellence that is represented by the seal of CCAC/CARF accreditation.
